After a couple of terrible experiences at Rush thought I'd try somewhere new and very glad I did. In a marathon 3.5 hour session, lovely stylist Sheridan managed to shift my very stubborn permanent red colour for a beautiful rich brown. They even kept the salon open late on a Sunday evening to make sure it was done properly. Friendly service, great colour skills. Thanks ladies!

A lovely man runs this shop and he is helpful, polite and efficient. However, if you need to order anything the staff are not very informative and I was misled as to how long it takes to get things in. I ordered a book which should only have taken a week to arrive but when I phoned a week later I was told they just order one day in the week and so sat on my order until that day came round again! Now I have to wait yet another week! Very frustrating because nobody told me this and now I will miss the recipient’s birthday and could have got it in half the time, if I’d bought online. They used to sell a wide range of bibles here but lately only hold a very limited choice. Sadly, I won’t be ordering again.

I've always liked this Waterstones. The staff are always friendly and very helpful. The coffee shop on the first floor is a great place to stop for a read too.

All the staff is really friendly and there's a great selection of reads for all genres. The café is great as well and coffee is much cheaper than what can be found on the high street.

Called them today as I had a problem with my stereo that wasn't holding memory. What they could and should have done was to get the car in, fix it and charge me... I'd have been happy... but no, he gave me the advice for me to fix it... which I did. Now that is amazing customer service... next time I need anything within their remit, they get my custom... they should get yours too.

I went to these guys to install front and rear door speakers, also to amp all speakers on another occasion. Both times I had really great service, impartial advice, quick service and most of all the job was done thoroughly and cleaned once completed. Excellent service. Very knowledgeable lot. I was first referred to them a few years back from a huge car dealership who couldn't fix a problem with the car lock. The fault was found and fixed promptly. More recently, my wife's car was serviced, fixed and MOTed with minimal fuss and explaining everything along the way. Booking my own car in for a service too!

We have just bought a 2010 Fiat 500 Lounge from Harlequin Motors and are very happy with the service we received. We found a minor technical issue with the car and Kirk went above and beyond what was actually required to fix it and are very grateful for that. Would have absolutely no problem recommending them for good quality cars.

Had a very nice buying experience. The car was good value for money, not a steal but this garage is not one of those 'too good to be true' places. Have been commuting daily for 2 months and am very happy. Kirk was knowledgeable and helpful. My only slight regret is not buying that convertible mini.... but probably for the best. Would definitely visit again.

Having sold my trusty Suzuki Bandit 1200 mk1 I was having trouble finding a new bike which would provide the power and fun of the old girl. I tried 500cc bikes but they were just too slow and did not need a 1 litre sports bike so was scratching my head as what to get. I've known Lamba for years so as I passed the shop one day I just asked Jon what he would recommend. 20 minutes later I'm out test riding an XSR900 and...it felt just like the Bandit, high-up, fast, grunty...but newer. Just had the first service and problems arose with the workshop. But sales people and managers sorted it out.

This chemist is just amazing. It feel more like a public service than a business. They are extremely sensitive to your needs and have really helped me out with my fathers medicine when he just came out of hospital and the doctors were spinning us around on several things. This is a medium sized store. So it has the food hall women's, men's and children's clothing. A large lingerie department and cosmetic department. It also has a cafe. It doesn't stock furniture. Usually the store is tidy and well staffed. Although at lunchtimes there can be long queues - generally well managed. I do wish it had a larger autograph section.

M & S Sutton has women, men and children clothing. It has foodhall which includes fresh bakery products. On first floor, it has a lovely cafe , beauty and lingerie section. Rest- rooms are on this floor too. Staff is always friendly and warm.

I cannot rate this place highly enough. Not only is it great for little bits you need, it also stocks a lot of the higher end products that most high street bike shops don't stock. Also, the big one of their workshop which is absolutely topnotch - any work they do is not only faultless, the turnaround is super quick. If you want to avoid the shops which just sit with your bike for a week, go to this place and they'll do a brilliant job quickly.

The staff at Pearsons are always friendly. Recently bought my kids Micro scooters from them and service and support great. Will go back again and again as always on the look out for the latest cycling gear.

Went above and beyond to help me with my bike build for a cycle tour trip. Kept me up to date as it was in progress and even lent me their own personal seat collar from one of their bikes for my bike as the one I had ordered was too small and a new one wouldn't arrive in time for my trip. They really care about what they do. An exhibition in 5 star service.

Great little shop. Quick, effective, reasonably priced work and the owner always has the time to talk things through and give advice.

It is a big B&Q so no surprises here - except this is the first place I have been to where they clearly don't want anyone in anything bigger than a small car! They have installed a chicane made of very solid and big metal bollards which you have to manoeuvre found to get into the car park. I consider myself to be a reasonably adept driver but i have a long car and It is a heart in mouth job every time I enter. To the extent that, if I can, I now avoid this place. I have no doubt that it is a measure to foil travellers, but they impact on everyone else!

Fancy looking for something you put in the garden in the garden section and then asking an employee for help! Very rude staff, basically told me I should know where all the stock is and it was obviously in the household goods... Which they weren't anyway! Luckily the young guy on the tills was far more friendly and helpful. So, stay away from the miserable old guy...

Recently purchased wall and floor tiles from Tiles DIY Croydon store, have to say Nick and Douglas were very patient with me when choosing tiles providing me with free samples, all staff were very professional and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. This is the place to buy your tiles!

A really good branch because they have a wide range of products to hire and useful bits for sale, as well as good cutomer service. No good trying to get them by phone cos poor bloke's juggling, go in, well worth the visit if you want something. Pricier than the competition but they took a lot of hassle out of my day. Phil in this branch is particularly knowledgeable and helpful.

We have used Vanessa and the team at House of Flowers a couple of times now. Once for an anniversary and the other for Mothering Sunday. Both times, Vanessa was very cooperative and helpful at advising what to buy to fit my budget. They were also great when I changed my mind about picking up the flowers instead of getting a delivery. We did this because Vanessa suggested getting the kids to come in and sign the card in advance for Mothering Sunday which was a very nice touch and much appreciated by my better half. Would highly recommend.

At such an upsetting time, the kind and caring gentlemen in the florists helped me select a suitable floral casket for my mother’s funeral; enquired what my mother’s favourite flowers were so they could be included in the floral arrangement. Visited to view Garden plants/equipment/tools & plant holders - there they have it all!! The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable and plenty of them on hand. They clearly want you to spend all day there as there are several eating places within the complex & they have a really quick turnover from order to the meal being in front of you! Definitely worth a visit!

Excellent garden centre albeit overpriced on the plant front. Still, all their plants are reliable and not on their last legs. The kids play area is good too, perfect for our 2yr old, although there are always parents who dump their kids there and ignore them while their brats throw sand at everyone - just keep an eye out. The cafe food is good for potatoes, sandwiches and cake while the restaurant is really good for something larger. Can get very busy at peak times. Staff are generally excellent.

The BEST Garden Centre nursery by far. Quick turnover of stock, so there's always a bargain to be had. Friendly staff, even in the pouring rain lol.

Very good affordable plants and pots, much cheaper than Woodcote. Good variety as well and everything we have bought from here has done well. If you just want good affordable plants this is the place to go too. My recommendations would be come here first for the plants and pots then go on to Woodcote for a scone at the cafe and the increased variety of what they do should you need it.

Pretty typical homebase store, entry of parking out the front which is handy. The store is having a closing down sale on writing this, which was when I visited also. This tempted us to go see if there are any bargains to be had, although, due to Homebase beimg pricey, even with a sale, most things were still cheaper elsewhere. Worth a visit if you are local suppose, but not worth a long journey. Many things are literally a saving of pence, the least exciting closing down sale I've experienced personally. Very few plants left, but lots of electrical, garden and decorating stuff, unsurprising, hence the prices.

You can get everything here apart from the kitchen sink! N.b Kitchen sinks are on aisle 23

Beautiful store with such stunning jewellery. Unfortunately I lost my ring but it was very good quality and well worth the money. I still have my bracelet after one year. It's free to clean but I haven't got round to it yet but it is very clean anyway. I am very happy.
